I've been following this story - very interesting bit of viral marketing. Bring on Portal II!

Looks like they've announced Portal 2, with a tentative Oct 26 release date.

Not only will it contain a new single-player campaign, but a separate cooperative two player campaign as well! The mind boggles at what kind of crazy puzzles they'll have that will require two to solve!

That is awesome.  I still want them to make a multiplayer...perhaps 4 or more.  Not so much puzzle solving, but combative (i.e. TFC2 with portal guns).  That would promote mass chaos, but there is where the fun lies.

I like to put holes in that poster...but this does not reflect the way I or this website feels about edchuck.

Okay now that all of the above has happened AND my Internet is currently working, I need to kill some zombies.  (I'm going to imagine that they are all undead Brighthouse employees).

If you have not already done so, go to the TOOLS tab in your Steam game list and install the "Left 4 Dead 2 Add-on Support".  It's used for user made maps and such, which we will no doubt be playing some time soon (I just downloaded one which is how I ran in to this).  That way we'll all be ready!

New upcoming L4D2 mutation:
Room for One – There is only room for one survivor in the rescue vehicle at the climax. Players will have to fight each other to be the last survivor standing while still helping each other enough to get to the rescue vehicle.

Sounds evil hehe.

Ok...what happened to the 8 licenses of L4D2 that were purchased awhile back?  I think we need to get a 4 on 4 L4D2 game going on-line.  I know GeekWeek is coming up, but you'll have to play it on the web anyway while your there, so lets go ahead and do it now.
Most nights, you can just jump on Steam and find some of us.
But I want to recommend selecting a day/night within the next 2 weeks.  So I will start this off:
I am available most weekdays from 9am till 5:30.  Then any night after 8:30 till?

BRAINS!!!

I'm available most evenings after 9 or so.  I will be away from June 20 - July 5, but the week of the fifth I will be all by my lonesome and available for much carnage.
